Practices
Ten practices.
Each with a page that states what we do, how a matter runs, and what it typically costs.

- Corporate & M&ACompany formation, shareholder arrangements, acquisitions and disposals, and the regulatory approvals that sit around them.3
- Employment & LabourContracts, terminations, restructurings, social insurance and disputes before the labour courts — for employers and, separately, for individuals.3
- Family & Personal StatusDivorce, custody, maintenance, inheritance and the documentation around them. Handled with the same care as any commercial matter — because it is the practice most people actually need.2
- Real Estate & ConstructionAcquisition, development, registration, leasing and construction contracts — including the registration problems that most Egyptian property carries.3
- Dispute Resolution & ArbitrationCommercial litigation before the Egyptian courts and arbitration before CRCICA, the ICC and ad hoc tribunals.4
- Banking & FinanceLending, security, syndication and regulatory work for banks, borrowers and non-bank financial institutions.3
- TaxCorporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, withholding and disputes with the Egyptian Tax Authority.2
- Data Protection & TechnologyCompliance with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law, technology contracting, and the licensing that sits around digital businesses.2
- Competition & RegulatoryMerger control, ECA investigations, distribution arrangements and sector regulation.1
- Intellectual PropertyTrade marks, copyright, trade secrets, licensing and enforcement against counterfeits.2
How we work
Three commitments, on every matter.
Scope in writing before we start
You receive an engagement letter setting out what we will do, what we will not do, and who is responsible. If the scope changes, we tell you before the work happens, not on the invoice.
A named partner on every matter
Not a shared inbox and not a rotating team. One partner is accountable for the matter from the first meeting to the last document, and their direct line is on the engagement letter.
Fee structure explained, in a range, before you commit
Every practice page on this site publishes how we charge and what moves the number. Before you instruct us you will have a range in writing, and we will tell you what would push you to the top of it.
Sectors
Where the work sits.
Sector knowledge changes the advice. These are the industries we work in most.

The firm
Founded 2009.
HUJJA was formed in 2009 by four lawyers who had trained in both Egyptian civil practice and international transactional work. The firm was built around a single working assumption: that a client who understands the process makes better decisions, and that explaining it is part of the work rather than a courtesy extended when there is time.

We do not name clients. Every matter above is described by the type of party, the type of work, a value band and our role — because client confidentiality is absolute and does not expire when a matter closes. A firm that publishes client names without written permission is telling you what it would do with yours.
